Waving her hand in a circle Tabitha shrugged, "ah you know here and there mostly there." She said very vaguely it wasn't like her to talk about herself or let anyone know too much about her, that included people of the night persuasion the less people knew the easier it would be for her to leave. "How about you? Where are you from?"

Her answer was vague. A little to vague for his liking. "Chicago, 1812." Of course he'd just given her his age, but Jack found he was more open with those of his kind. Maybe a little to open. Motioning down the street, Jack commented, "We're almost there. Not to much farther now."

"To say that you've been around for awhile, would be an understatement now wouldn't it?" Tabitha said looking straight ahead of them. Then it accrued to her that she had no clue where they where heading, sure she j we they were going to get a bite to eat but she had no clue where exactly it was. " So what exactly is the nam of this place?"

Jack chuckled heartily. "The truest understatement I've heard in a century." He directed her to the right before answering her question directly, "St. Thomas' Blood Clinic." Just one more block and they'd be at the front doors. "We'll go in through the back door. A friend of mine works there, and will let us in for a midnight snack."

Bowing her head she let a ghost of a smile grace her pale face, before loosing it and resuming her face of indifference laced with a hint of curiosity. "So have you entirely stopped drinking from humans? Or is this special treatment?"

The distance between them and the blood clinic grew smaller, and for some strange reason, Jack began to feel a tad bit uncomfortable. "A special treatment of sorts." He glanced sideways at Tabitha. "I come to the blood clinic when the blood lust becomes to much. When I fear that I might kill, rather than just taste." His regards for human life were an oddity among his fellow night stalkers, and he knew that in most of their 'polite' society, he was shunned for his decisions. "It's the same blood that comes out of a human, it's just packaged differently."

Nodding her head Tabitha just listened to Jack, for being around for such a long time he was very articulate. It was nice to meet someone who slightly shared her views on food consumption, "it's nice to see that there are others who see humans more than food."

Jack gave a small chortle, "There are fewer of us now, and fewer still who are feared." Now they'd arrived at the clinic, the large crimson cross lighting up the entrance way below. He led her around to the back door, where an intercom was set up. Pressing the button, he waited for his friend to answer. "That damned Twilight series has us looking like fools. Fan girls are to stupid to realize the full danger." Jack despised the Twilight franchise, and had..on many occasions, attempted the demise of several of the lesser actors.

Placing a hand over her mouth Tabitha tried to muffle her laughter, because she understood what Jack was saying about the Twilight movies. It did them the vampire race no justice, "I think I would hold acting classes for them. So they could see what it was like to be a vampire."

It was Jack's turn to laugh. "No amount of exposure would help their acting careers." Finally, after a few minutes, a voice sounded over the intercom. "We're closed. Come back tomorrow during the day, and use the front door." The voice sounded groggy, and usual. "Come on Peter, it's Jack. Let me in."
There was a brief silence before the intercom buzzed to life again. "Go away Jack, I got in trouble the last time. They're keeping tabs on the blood packs now." Jack was a little shocked, to say the least. "Come on Peter, just a couple of blood packs, that's all I'm asking for. Now let me in."
There was silence again, a longer span of time passing. Finally, after ten minutes, the door swung open to reveal a rather geeky looking fellow. Messy brown hair, an unkempt beard of the same shade, and thick rimmed glasses nestled on the bridge of his nose. Peter was pale, as most geeks were. However, the current reason was because of his fear of Jack.
"Well, are you waiting for an invitation or what?" Jack motioned for Tabitha to enter first.
