"At least you get to make a choice, if you're so unhappy then change your damn life. Instead of trying to run from it," he yelled at her while he tried to walk off the throbbing. "Fighting is all I have it's the one thing in my sad existence that I can trust, so I'm sorry if you can't handle that not everyone is going to warm up to you."
"You take your life for granted, what if one day you fought someone who ended up killing you? How do you think your parents would react when they find out that their daughter was living a double life? That would crush them, you still have them so talk to them and tell them you aint happy." Jumping slightly he cringed at how sore his balls still were, "I don't think of myself as high and mighty I'm far from it. I just call it as I see it, and I've seen a lot of your type breeze in and breeze out. Usually in a body bag."

Vocalizing her frustration with a mixture between a scream and a growl, Alice walked away from Zane. She couldn't stand him anymore. She was a block away when she turned back around and walked back up to him. "You can make a difference in your life, too. So you're scarred. Poor you. There are people fighting cancer, and they do their best to live life to the fullest. Hoping, praying that they'll get better."
Alice was still so furious with Zane, she didn't know why she came back for that last comment. Instead of waiting to hear what he would have to say, she walked away once more. This time, she kept walking. With her hands stuffed in her pockets, she slowly made her way towards her home.

Not liking how the conversation ended Zane paced himself and ran after Rabbit, catching up to her Zane spun her around and glared softly at her. "They have something or someone to live for, just like you. You have your parents and probably a bright future, I don't have that I never had that the minute our house caught on fire."
Turning his head Zane smirked just a little bit and began kicking himself, "Rabbit you are the total opposite of weak. Yes I admit that you were a good opponent to fight, you don't need to be part of this world it will eat you whole and spit you out. Talking to you made me realize just how much I've changed in these past few years, no matter what you say you'll end up like me down the road."

Alice heaved a sigh as she was stopped. "You really need to stop this self-pity party you've got going on." Sure, he lost his parents. He was scarred, but that didn't mean he didn't have a future. Her interest was peeked when he admitted to her that she wasn't weak. Now that she wasn't as pissed off as she was, a smile crept on to her face. She gently slapped her hand onto his scarred shoulder. "Here's a little piece of advise for you," she paused a moment to take in his appearance, "it'll only change you if you let it."
She was about to start walking again when an idea hit her. "Why don't you try living on the other side?" This was her way of extending an invitation to him. She was giving him the opportunity to see how she lived. Her oh so glamorous life style. It would do him some good to get away from the fighting scene. "You said you needed a vacation."

Pinching the bridge of his nose, Zane was starting to regret following her. He wasn't scared. Or maybe he was but whatever the case was this little girl was hitting points, that he wasn't accustomed to hearing and it bothered him. "Me on the other side? Yeah right thanks but I'll just lock myself in my apartment for a few days."

Crossing her arms over her chest, Alice gave Zane an intense stare. "Like a coward?" She was sure that comment would get on his nerves, but it seemed the only way she could get through to him. "You pity yourself, claim you have no future, and here I offer you a chance to change that. Are you scared? Or just to stubborn to do something that might benefit you?"

"Alright. Let's just say I take a vacation on the other side, where do you suppose I stay?" Crossing his arms he gazed at the street behind her, and saw no one walking their way. "Because I know for sure that I'm not buying or renting another place, I could use my money for better things."

"My parents have a large house. To large if you ask me. We have two guest rooms, one of which never gets used." She had already thought about the issues that would arise with her parents, but she would deal with them as they came. "Honestly, where did you think you'd be staying?"

Staring at her warily Zane all but shook his head, this girl was nuts for inviting a strange guy to her house. Laughing loudly Zane shook his head, "how about this I stay here but you can show me around after you have school."

It was Alice's turn to laugh now. "Do you have any idea how long it takes to get to the other side? I'd have to skip school just to get here, and then get you back. You're better off just staying a while at my place." She would have to come up with a story, for her parent's sake. "Besides, if you want the full experience...you'll be coming to school with me. You're, what...seventeen, eighteen years old?"
