"I'm nineteen." He confessed without fully thinking about it, until it was too late. "So your little plan won't work, I should be in college so what other ideas do you got in that pretty little head of yours?" Zane asked a little skeptical at how he was actually contemplating of actually going home with her, "first before I go anywhere what the hell is your real name? Also don't you want to know my name, before you invite me into your house?"

"Nineteen!?" That certainly put a wrench in her plans, but she could work around that. "If I think you look seventeen, I'm sure the teachers won't think otherwise. You'll just have to...fib a little." She smiled a little, happy that she could find a way around that little bump. When he asked her what her real name was, and if she wanted to know his, she grimaced a little. She definitely hadn't thought that part through. Perhaps this wasn't such a good idea.
Mentally kicking herself, Alice scolded herself. It was to late now to back down from this plan, and besides, she trusted him. She'd been watching him for months. "I suppose you can't go around calling me Rabbit." She hesitated for a moment. If she thought he would end up stalking her, or worse, she wouldn't have gone through with this. But he'd saved her life just the night before. "Alice."

Rolling his eyes he glanced at her before looking the other way, he could read her mind by her facial expression. "Keh I guess this won't be so bad, but I swear if for some unknown reason someone rats us out to the cops. Alice your the one on the chopping block," he informed her because his ass was not going to be put in jail.

"Fine," she let her arms drop from their position across her chest, "but I still don't know your name." She stuffed her hands into her pocket and began to walk again. She wanted to get home now, though she was sure things would be a bit more difficult. Her parents thought she was in bed, sleeping with a horrendous cold. Turning so that now she was walking backwards, she bit her lower lip. "Tonight you'll have to sleep in the pool house. It's always warm in there, and the kitchen's been fully stocked. I think there might be some pop or something in there, and maybe some food."

"Zane and hold on are you sneaking me in? Oh no no, I don't want to wake up to a shot gun in my face. How about we have some normalcy, tonight I go home pack some things and tomorrow I'll meet you at the train station. Then that way you tell your parents I'm an exchange student, or something alright?"

Alice made a face. Why hadn't she thought about that? "I was going to get you after school anyway, and introduce you to my parents as an exchange student." She began to chew on her lip, an act of nervousness. "But I like your idea better. Make sure you're at the station by four o'clock. No later. That way I can tell my parents that we were at a club meeting."

Smirking Zane pointed at her before turning to go home, "Alice I don't know if you're crazier than I am." Walking home he couldn't believe that he was actually going to go through with this crap, yet it excited him that something new was going to happen to him hopefully for the better.

By the time she got home, it was time to get up. She didn't bother to create an excuse to sleep. Instead, she went on with her perfect morning routine. The cold shower she had woke her up. Her makeup hid the dark circles under her eyes. Everything went on normally, except for her increase in appetite. Noticing the change in her daughter, Helen tried to pry any and all information out of Alice. "My, my. Aren't you ravenous this morning." Alice slowed her chewing, and looked at her mother. Had she been caught? "I'm, uh, trying out for the volleyball team today. Can't go to try outs with an empty stomach." Her father slowly lowered his newspaper and gave an approving nod. Alice gave him a smile as she relaxed. She'd managed to somehow convince her father, but what about her mother. Her mother, despite her motherly intuition, let the matter slide.
Relieved, Alice finished off her breakfast and left the house. The bus ride to school was slow going, or at least it seemed like it was. The conversations going on around her seemed to buzz in and out of her ears. Even her classes seemed to go by in a blur. During her Advanced Literature class, Alice had been caught day dreaming. The teacher had slammed her pointing stick across the desk in front of Alice, causing her to jump. Nothing could have prepared her for the jump back to reality. Nothing was said by the teacher, as Alice was the top student in the class, but her peers giggled as Alice's face reddened in embarrassment.
Ignoring the now stiffled giggles of her peers, Alice turned and looked out the window. She'd been previously thinking back to the night before, when Zane had said she was crazier than even himself. No one had ever said something like that. They'd all claimed she was perfect. The perfect student. The perfect daughter. Perfect, perfect, perfect. The fact that Zane had said something so...different...it made Alice happy. She was able to shatter that perfect life, even if it was in secret.
When the school day was done, and the final bell rang, Alice went to her locker and got everything she needed to take home. There was a year book meeting she needed to go to before making her way to the train station, but she was sure it wouldn't take long. As the head of the year book committee, she needed to finalize designs, approve of pictures, and even do a bit of editing. Walking into the meeting, everyone gave her a smile and a nod, acknowledging that she'd arrived. "Show me what we've got," She looked at the clock above the door, "in less than fifteen minutes." Each group of individuals brought their projects to be viewed by Alice. Some she approved right away, and others she took more time on. Some didn't even make it to her attention. Once the fifteen minutes were up, she was gone.
She finally made it to the train station where she was suppose to meet Zane, with five minutes to spare. She'd gone around looking for him, just in case he'd decided to arrive early, though she doubted that very much. Exhausted from running around, she sat on a bench, and waiting as patiently as she could.
(Sorry it took so long. I've been having troubles getting this post put together.)

It had taken Zane a few hours to find clothing that were appropriate for the new "home," yet he was still very nervous about the whole situation. When he finally made it to the train station he fidget with his hair and his shirt, all the while walking around looking for Alice. Finally noticing her Zane coughed to get her attention, "sup?" was all he could muster up to say.

Alice was a little startled by the cough, but redeemed herself when he spoke. "Wow." Her vocabulary was failing her for the first time. "I mean," she looked him up and down, checking out every inch of him, "you clean up nicely." Standing from the bench, she fiddled with her clothes, mostly making sure she hadn't sat in someone's forgotten gum. "Come on, we better get moving, or my mother will have my head when I get home."
Unconsciously, Alice took Zane by the hand and led him towards one of the platforms. They were going to take another train, and then they'd have to transfer to a bus. It wasn't until Alice noticed some of the stares she was receiving, that she looked down at their hands. Quickly, she let go, apologizing profusely.
