Name:Vivienne Claudell Date of Birth: August 21 Age:19 Gender:Female Eye Colour: Blue Hair Colour: Brown Dominant Hand: :Left Sexual Orientation: Men Personality: Confident, determined, headstrong, obedient History: I Vivienne Claudell am betrothed to a man I do not know, all to safe my kingdom from poverty and famine. Is it selfish of me that my heart wants another? Yet this Prince I am to marry intrigues me very much, so much so that I am curious as see if the rumours of him are true. [+] Mother said it was high time that I meet the man who was suppose to save our Kingdom, at first I thought it would do me good to get away from the dying Kingdom but the more I think about it the more I recent myself for agreeing. Though I mustn't complain because a proper lady never complains, and if I am to be the bride of this Kingdom's Prince then I am to act very lady like. Four hours later we still haven't reached the Kingdom of Azalea, I feel myself beginning to become restless which never good. Looking to my right I feel a soft on my leg, I smile a small smile at the royal adviser. Ewen seems to know how to settle me down or cheer me up, and because of that I think I have started to fall for him but we live in a world where Princess do not fall in love with advisers who cannot bring their Kingdom back from ruin. Turning my head back to the window I can finally see the Kingdom in the distance, and now I can see why they call it Azalea. The flower blooms all around the outskirts of the place, it's almost like a weed a very beautiful weed.

My name is Demetrius Lemont. I was born on July seventeenth. I turned twenty-three on my last birthday. I am indeed a male. I fancy females, and they usually fancy me as well.I've been told on many occasions that I can be: a bit flirtatious, stubborn, passionate about things I care for, loyal, indecisive, courageous, sarcastic, a little immature (according to the King), easily bored and adventurous. It's clear to see, that my family's history is quiet transparent. I am the first born to King Reginald and Queen Ellenia, and thus first in line for the throne. Azalea is my home, and quite a beautiful place to live. However, having it made my permanent residence has made me eager to travel. I've made it a habit to travel as often as I can, usually setting sail with any ship that will take me. I did make a promise though, to my mother, that I would always return for a period of time. For instance, I've been called home due to an interesting development in a neighboring Kingdom. Of course, my mother has planned for some sort of party. She does love her extravagant soirees. It is to be a welcome home event, as well as a welcoming event for the Princess I am being forced into marriage with. Going against the King's orders would definitely be a criminal offence, if I were anyone other than his son. However, I can't find the enthusiasm. I have never met this Princess, not to mention I have feelings of my own, which I keep hidden from those around me. Perhaps fate will reveal her hand, and perhaps she will doom me to a life I do not want. There's only one way to find out.
It had been some time since he'd set foot in his home land. To long, his mother would say. The King, oh, the King would have him training to be a proper ruler, had he had his way. As it was, Demetrius was a free man. At least, he was until he stepped foot on the dirt of his father's Kingdom. The journey back from his travels had been seemingly short. The naval ship sent to collect him from his far away destination was none to polite about their methods to ending his trip. At least they were accommodating. Demetrius stood on deck, leaning against the railing. He held a worn piece of parchment in his hands as he read, and reread the letter carefully. Dear son, your father requests you return from your trip with the naval ship delivering this letter. A most exciting, and grievous turn of events have befallen our Kingdom, and that of one of our closest allies. You are to be wed to the Princess Vivienne Claudell in two months time. Mother. A wedding! To a complete stranger, no less. His father must have come down with an illness. Did he know nothing of his first born son? Clearly not. Looking up from the letter, Demetrius could see the silhouette of Azalea on the horizon. In just a short amount of time, he'd be home. His father was seriously mistaken if he thought Demetrius wouldn't argue against the decision. Before sun down, the ship would dock in the harbor, and Demetrius would ride to the palace where he would confront the matter with utter boldness. This was not alright. The hours passed by agonizingly slow, and just as the sun began to dip low in the sky, the naval ship was docked. He disembarked, and commandeered one of the soldier's horses, leaving his things to be brought up behind him. He raced through the streets, the horses hooves pounding against the cobblestones with clear purpose. It didn't take him long to ride the horse through the palace gates. It took him even less time to find his father, who sat royally in the throne room. Demetrius could see the sheer pleasure on his mothers face as he came into the room, and he could equally see the boredom on his fathers. "What is the meaning of this? I demand answers!" Queen Ellenia rushed to calm her son, but King Reginald stood with the force of a King and bellowed, "You dare question my authority?" Demetrius, who was used to this kind of behavior from his father, simply nodded his head. "Dear, you must have had a long journey home. Perhaps you should rest, and we'll explain everything in the morning." No, that wouldn't do. Demetrius was as stubborn as his father, and he wanted the answers he sought. "Silence! The Princess will be arriving shortly, there is no time for this. My word, is my law. You will marry Princess Vivienne, and you will say nothing of it!"
It was getting late, and he was tired. Even he knew that the King spoke true when he said the Princess would be arriving soon. " Then excuse me while I prepare to meet the Princess," he turned to leave the throne room, but quickly left the King with something to think about, " but don't think this is over, father. We will discuss this in the morning." Demetrius left the throne room, and hiked through the many corridors to his bedroom. It had been to long since he'd had the comforts of home, and he almost missed it. Now, he called for a servant to draw him a bath.

My name is: Lillica Sinclair But you can call me: Harlequin I was born on: January twentieth The number of candles on my last cake was: Nineteen The doctor declared me a: Girl I write with my: Right I see through these coloured eyes: Black I brush this coloured hair: Red And this is the soul who has tamed me: Devereux The gender I choose to mate with is: Male People say that I am: Joker, obedient, quiet, dark Here are some pages from my journal: There isn't much to know about me. When I'm summoned that's when I'm funny and outgoing, but when I'm locked away in my stone cell or taking a walk I'm quiet and prefer to be left alone. Lately though I haven't been sleeping well, these dreams I keep having about the end of the kingdom are wreaking havoc on me. What could they mean? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It was very late but Lillica wasn't tired yet she wasn't in the mood to read her only book, it was a book her mother had given to her as a child. It was about a prince and a hand maiden who had fallen in love, but hid their love for one another because of fear. The two would visit in the castle's garden in the dead of night, only spending an hour with one another but it was worth it. Then just like that the two disappeared into the shadows, going back to their regular lives. Lillica had loved the book growing up, because she had always envisioned herself as the fair maiden who had captured the prince's heart. As she grew older though the fantasies began to be locked away in the dark recesses of her mind, because her eyes were opened to the different social classes. The little girl who use to dream about becoming a princess and falling in love, was locked away leaving a very quiet and dark young woman who masked her sadness behind her humour. A quiet yawn broke her from her dark thoughts, as well as away from the window she was currently seated at. Arching her back she rose from her seat and laid down on her cot, she wasn't one of the lucky servants in the castle fortunate to have a private room. Even though her room wasn't beautiful or cozy it was a lot warmer than the lower level, although she just wished that she could have a softer bed. Staring at the brick ceiling she listened to the hushed voices of the other servants, some where talking about a princess from a neighbouring kingdom coming the next day while others were gushing over the prince being home. With one final thought Lillica could feel her stomach start to bubble nervously, just the mere thought of Prince Demetrius being a mere hundred feet from her caused her to blush uncontrollably.

The sun peeked through a small crack in the carriage's curtains, successfully waking Vivienne from her slumber which was not the greatest sleeps she's ever had. Doing all of her morning routine Vivienne made sure her dress was not to crinkled for when she met the royal family of Azalea. Today was the beginning of the rest of her life but Vivienne wasn't all that happy to start something new, the thought of a stranger laying next to her in bed wasn't very appealing to her.

Demetrius hadn't slept at all. Instead, he stood by his bedroom window, staring out at the vast Kingdom that lay before him. It would all be his, soon enough. He heard the servants bustling about in the corridors, doing their chores and making final preparations for when the Princess arrived. He couldn't imagine how they were about to go with so little sleep, and still manage to do their jobs. Even know, the sun was just rising and he could smell breakfast cooking.
Not ten minutes passed when a knock came at his door. "You may enter." Demetrius smiled when he saw his personal butler enter the room. The young man was no more than a year younger, and had raven black hair and the most intense blue eyes. "Harry!" It had been a long time since he'd seen his friend. In fact, they were more than friends, they were best friends. Harry was the closest thing Demetrius had to a brother.
"Your majesty." Harry bowed in respect and closed the door. Now they were freer to be themselves. "It's been a while my friend. How were your travels?" Harry went about his duties as he listened to his friend. "Splendid! That is," Demetrius pulled the worn letter from his pocket, "until I received this." Harry paused as he pulled a blue dress shirt from the closet. "I heard. The whole Kingdom's been gossiping about it." Demetrius sighed as he returned the paper back to his pocket. "Yes well, I hope to get some answers from my father at breakfast." Harry laid the clothes on a chair and proceeded to make the bed. Demetrius waited for his friend to finish his duties before closing the door behind him.
Now clad in a pair of black slacks, the blue dress shirt that Harry had picked out, and a pair of polished shoes, Demetrius headed towards the dining room, where he knew his family would be waiting. Upon his arrival, his sisters, Lily, Daisy, and Rose, all gathered around him. "Demetrius! Did you bring us anything from your travels?" Laughing, Demetrius hugged the triplets. "Was I suppose to bring something back for you?" "YES!" He laughed again, this time hearing a chime like laugh coming from his mother. "After breakfast, why don't you come to my room, and I'll see if I brought anything home for you." The triplets ran back to their seats, excited at seeing their gifts.
Demetrius followed them, taking his seat to the left of his father. Breakfast was then served. The only noise to be heard was the clinking of forks and knives against plates, and the chatter of the triplets. "Father, I wo-" "My word, is my law." "But I don-" "Enough." Frustrated, Demetrius dropped the subject. He finished his meal in silence. The triplets had ceased their chatter, and even the Queen stared between her husband and son.

Vivienne was already stepping out of the carriage as it pulled up to the entrance way, she needed to stretch her legs and get a little fresh air. When the kinks were finally out of her back and legs Vivienne stared over at Ewen who had spoken to one of the royal guards, "the royal family has just sat down for breakfast milady the guard had said. I was thinking that it would be wise for us to wait out in the gardens for the royal family to be done their meal."
Smiling to the guard Vivienne followed the young man to the garden located at the rear of the castle, she did admit that it was a very well kept garden but it wasn't as lovely up close as the one back in Meridian was. "would it be selfish of me wishing that this prince would want to move back to Meridian for me?" A little shocked at what his princess had voice Ewen softly forced her to sit on the edge of the fountain, "Vivienne you know very well that once you became betrothed to prince Demetrius your home is Azalea now."Ewen said sadly but held a tight smile, to hide the fact that he would miss the princess very much. Since for years he had been in love with her, he suspects she shared the feelings but like his was to shy to act upon them.
Now here he was watching the love of his life be married off to another, it felt like his manhood was ripped away from him, and his heart was torn from his heart and dangled at an arms length. That no matter how hard he tried he could never reach it, so all he could do to stay in her life was accompany her to this kingdom to meet prince Demetrius.

The remainder of breakfast was almost unbearable, but Demetrius managed to sit through it. Once the table was cleared, the family of royals went to the throne room. King Reginald sat in his high backed red oak throne, with Queen Elenia to his left in her much smaller throne. Demetrius stood on the King's right, and the triplets sat on foot stools beside their mother.
A guard had been sent to check for any news of the Princess, and then sent to the garden to fetch her. The guard was a clumsy young boy, just out of his training. When he found the Princess and her adviser, the guard stumbled over himself. He had never been in the presence of foreign royalty. "Your highness, the King has requested you join him and the royal family in the throne room." He tried not to look at her, knowing from his own experience that certain royals hated gawkers. He waited to escort the two foreign dignitaries to the throne room.

"Lillica wake up, did you hear the Prince is to be married to the Princess of Meridian?" Squealed one of the maids to Lillica who was trying to enjoy her open air bath, mildly interested she figured something big was going to be announced because the King had requested her comedy. The only time he did that was when a large ball or special guest were visiting, but now she knew why she was needed that evening.

Paying no heed to the boy Vivienne followed him along with Ewen to the throne room, now she got to meet her soon to be husband. But she knew that once she met him her life in her own kingdom would be over, and her life in Azalea would start which frightened her. So she prayed that once she met the prince he would be hideous enough for her to reject him, and no sooner she did that then she would be back in the carriage and on her way home.

Finding the bath not soothing anymore she grabbed her towel and bathrobe, slipping them on she headed back to the servants entrance to prepare for that evening. Slipping into her room she began to put on her black, red and white outfit while she went over new things to talk about which would entertain everyone.
